Commercial Bench CAL-717, Recycling Bin CRC-778 & Recycling Bin CRC-818

Canaan Site Furnishings is proud to have been a key contributor to the development of the Ottawa Light Rail Transit (LRT) system, participating in both Phase 1 and Phase 2 of this landmark infrastructure undertaking. During the initial Phase 1 rollout of the Confederation Line, we equipped the transit hubs with the Commercial Bench CAL-717 and the Recycling Bin CRC-818. These products were specifically selected to provide immediate comfort and heavy-duty waste management for the high volume of daily commuters within the city’s first modern light rail stations.

Our involvement continued into the Phase 2 expansion, where we supported the Stage 2 extensions reaching further across the city. For this phase, we supplied the Commercial Bench CAL-717 alongside the Recycling Bin CRC-778 to meet the evolving design and capacity requirements of the new transit corridors. By participating in both phases, we have ensured a consistent standard of durability and style throughout the O-Train network, providing weather-resistant solutions that withstand Ottawa’s climate while keeping the transit environment clean and organized for thousands of passengers.
